Victoria & Gennadiy – an intimate garden wedding

Victoria and Gennadiy had a lovely small wedding with just 18 guests and they only needed me to photograph for a few hours – sometimes this is all that is needed to capture the best bits of the day.

I loved documenting this wedding: Victoria waited with her guests at the registry office, which was lovely and relaxed; she cried off her false eyelashes and had a last minute emergency fix; everyone had individual rose buttonholes pinned on for a personal touch; the reception was held in Victoria’s parents back garden and everyone had helped to create a stunning table layout under the marquee. Oh and did I mention the bride wore Louboutins? New shoe love.

Please feel free to leave some love for Victoria and Gennadiy using the comment box below this post. Enjoy, Jade x

Anthea Chou - Dear Vicky, I feel as if I was there just from looking at these beautiful images!! so much happiness, tears and smiles…so well captured, so natural…and i love all the little details of the wedding…the wonderful flower display, food, balloon in the sky, and I specially love the pictures of you & G signing the register …you look so radiant, happy and in love! The only picture that I wish the photographer could have taken is of you in your pyjamas having your first dance with G, but of course, she wasn’t there then!!

PhotographyTalk - Vicky,

What amazing shots. You were really able to capture all of them candidly, such a tough thing to do consistently.

Thank you for sharing,
