I’m currently catching up and updating some of my work that has been published over the last few months… Amelia and Paul’s amazing wedding cake was picked by Charlotte from Rock My Wedding to use in a feature she wrote on wedding cakes for Wedding Flowers magazine.

Paul’s aunt and mum decorated the 4-tier white iced cake with flowers and strawberries, as June (the month they got married) is strawberry season. I know that Amelia loved the cake so much that she didn’t want to cut it! x

A little late putting this one up, but a few months ago I did another shoot for Channel 4 Food, this time photographing some different suggestions for a vegetarian dinner party. I love these shoots, as I always get to eat what’s cooked afterwards! Nom x

Portrait photography – my two nieces

Now that the wedding season has finished this year for me (boo! bring on next year!) I shall most probably be sharing with you random pictures and published work, aren’t you in for a treat!

So to start, here are a few pictures of my gorgeous nieces that I took over the summer (have finally found the time to edit them). They’re too cute for words – all shot with a 50mm portrait lens for those that are interested (I can only shoot prime when not doing a wedding, much prefer the flexibility of my 24-70mm when having to capture lots of things quickly!) Amie & Aidan – wedding photography at The Tithe Barn, Petersfield

I’ve been looking forward to sharing this one for ages – this wedding was the last of the year for me and it was such a joy to photograph. Amie and Aidan were married at the Tithe Barn in Petersfield on a beautiful autumnal day in October. I loved the plum coloured bridesmaids dresses alongside the kilts and the barn lent itself perfectly to all the details and table settings they’d chosen. There was also a ceilidh band after the first dance which got everyone up dancing. Thank you Amie and Aidan for a fab day! (apologies for the tears at the start haha) Jade x

Liz & Paul – wedding photography at Winchester House, Putney

A few images from Liz and Paul’s classic London wedding in Putney on that scorchio weekend at the beginning of October – Liz and Paul are great fun to be around and clearly had a brilliant day, judging by the smiles all round. I loved the beautiful lace detailing on Liz’s dress and the fact that she walked from the church to Winchester House in those heels! Good effort I say, I’m rubbish in heels.

Just a few from Amie and Aidan’s fantastic wedding at the Tithe Barn near Petersfield, Hampshire. My first with kilts! The boiling weather the week before disappeared to provide a classic Autumn day, which was just perfect for the autumnal purples and greens on show. Loved this wedding! More to come soon… Jade x

Liz and Paul were married on one of the hottest days of the year – in October no less! No one expected 30 degree heat and lovely sunshine in Autumn, but it meant beautiful low light that leant itself perfectly to capture the walk over Putney Bridge from All Saints Church in Fulham to the reception at Winchester House.
